Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies hstvibroacoustic.com uses, and how you can manage your preferences. We keep our cookie usage to an absolute minimum: no advertising networks, no social media trackers, no retargeting pixels.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They allow the website to remember certain information — such as your language preference — across pages or sessions. Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (stored until they expire or you delete them).
2. Cookies We Use
We use two categories of cookies. No other cookies are set by this website.
- Strictly Necessary Cookies — Session / security tokens. These cookies are essential for the website to function correctly. They do not store any personally identifiable information and cannot be disabled. They expire at the end of your browsing session.
- Preference Cookies — NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you have selected (English, Italian or Arabic). Expires after 1 year. Set only after you actively choose a language.
3. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic (e.g. page views, referral sources). Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not set cookies on your device and does not collect personal data such as IP addresses or unique identifiers. All measurements are aggregated and anonymous.
Because no cookies are stored and no personal data is processed, Vercel Analytics does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
4. What We Do Not Use
hstvibroacoustic.com does not use:
- Google Analytics or any other analytics platform that sets cookies or collects personal data.
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
- Social media tracking scripts.
- Any third-party marketing or behavioural tracking technology.
5. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically as they are essential for the site to operate. The NEXT_LOCALE preference cookie is set only when you actively select a language — this constitutes a clear, affirmative action on your part. No consent banner is displayed for these cookies because (a) strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements and (b) the language preference cookie is set in direct response to your choice.
We do not use consent-based advertising or analytics cookies, so no consent management for those categories is required.
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking cookies may affect the functionality of this website (for example, your language preference may not be saved).
Guidance for common browsers: Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies and other site data. Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data. Safari — Preferences › Privacy › Manage Website Data. Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions.
7. Third-Party Services
No third-party services currently place cookies on hstvibroacoustic.com. Vercel (our hosting provider) processes anonymous, aggregated analytics data without cookies. If we ever introduce third-party services that use cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent before setting those cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
